With a focus on noncriminal issues, this talk will address the crisis faced by survivors of domestic violence, returning veterans seeking to access benefits, low-income entrepreneurs, and others due to the cost and complexity of law, plans to eliminate federal support for civil legal assistance, and the operations of courts and agencies that make law both inaccessible and unenforceable for many pople until we have political, technological, and de-regulatory reforms.
