Dear School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program Students,

So I went to the wedding of a family friend this weekend and her brother was the minister. He started it by saying, “Mwarriage,” and then proceeded to quote The Princess Bride for a full minute before getting into the ceremony. And since it is midterm season and every week feels like roaming through the fire swamp, it was much needed step out of college life. Thankfully, this week there are a ton of events to help you do just that.

Take a break to enjoy some art and film with the Artist’s Collective. Learn about opportunities throughout the university at the Passport to Student Success panel sponsored by the SASHP Peer Mentors. Learn about  issues involving the military and LGBTQ+ at the Voices of LGBTQ Veteran and Active Service Colloquium. Check out things for coming weeks as well.

If all you have time for are a few stolen minutes reading for fun, be sure to read our Shout Outs at the bottom of the newsletter and the SASHP Blog. Read about how one student overcame her Rutgers fears and why our bloggers love Rutgers.

In the meantime, stay only mostly dead.

As you wish,

Kim Peterman
