Join Honors Alumnus Brandon Li, SAS '12 (Economics), graduate of Columbia Business School and former market and policy analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Investment Analyst at BlackRock, to learn about his professional journey from Rutgers to the present. Brandon currently serves as an Investment Analyst at Oaktree Capital Management and has previously taught at Rutgers for the Economics department.
And Mike Alter SAS '12, a 2012 graduate of the Rutgers University School of Arts & Sciences Honors Program. Upon graduating from Rutgers Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science, Mike spent two years as an associate analyst at Moody's Investors Service on the local governments credit ratings team. Following his tenure at Moody's, Mike attended the Harvard Kennedy School for his Master in Public Policy and concentrated on business and government, primarily focusing on energy policy and markets. Since graduating from Harvard in 2016, Mike has worked at ICF in New York City consulting for electric utilities on how to modernize the electrical grid and make it more reliable, resilient, and sustainable. Mike participated in the 2017 SAS Honors Program Shadowing Experience where he mentored an SAS Honors student for the day at ICF International.
