Honors Alumni Brandon Li and Mike Alter met with a group of Honors economics majors and Rutgers Business students to share their post-Rutgers journey since graduating Rutgers and leaving the SAS Honors Program community in 2012.  The two friends returned back to campus with years of higher learning and professional advice to impart to our students.

Upon graduating from Rutgers Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Brandon spent five years as a market and policy analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, earned his MBA from Columbia Business School, and currently works at BlackRock as an investment analyst in the active equities group.  Mike also graduated Rutgers Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science.  He worked as an associate analyst at Moody's Investors Service on the local governments credit ratings team, attended the Harvard Kennedy School for his Master in Public Policy, and since graduating Harvard in 2016, Mike has worked at ICF International in New York City consulting for electric utilities on how to modernize the electrical grid and make it more reliable, resilient, and sustainable.

About the event, Tyler Farnsworth '18, a double major in Finance and Philosophy, commented "I think a lot of the students were able to glean a lot from these more experienced, yet still young alumni."
